My mother in-law has been experiencing very strange medical conditions (strange to me at least). Her issues started off with just a swollen foot and leg. She went to the hospital when he leg and foot swelled up and they said she had a bakers cyst behind her knee. They then said her bones in her knee were rubbing together and she needed knee surgery. They ended up finding a mass in her groin area which turned out to also just be a cyst. During the testings to find out what the mass was they noticed she had been losing blood so they gave her a colonoscopy this morning. They found polyps on top of bleeding stomach ulcers. I know majority of polyps are very rarely cancerous and only a certain kind is highly likely to be cancerous. So I know the numbers are in her favor for that. But I'm having a hard time finding any information on specifically ulcers and polyps together, and polyps on ulcers which bleeding and causing her to become anemic. They did a biopsy and it will be a week before she has the results. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of such a thing? Because I can't find anything on the two together on the internet. Thanks!View Thread
