Generally with this type of condition its most effective to understand how the gallbladder worked previously and how the liver has to adjust afterwards. instead of tbe bile being stored in tbe gallbladder until its needed, it now flows directly from the liver to the stomach. The body now doesnt have a consistant way of regulating how much bile is released to help you digest those fatty/greasy foods. The best solution isnt always medication so be sure to discuss other options with your doctor and speak your mind; dont be afraid to get a second opinion either. Best of luck to you all; i just got my gallbladder out less than 12 hours ago. Therefore, i am heavily medicated so please excuse my typos.View Thread
