because the ct scans and x-rays and MRS are all negative along with the UPPER gi and colonoscopy my next step is some capsule camera test. Not sure all that will show . Once again lower left abdomen pain that sometimes goes in to my back , upper left abdomen pains sometimes feels like stinging ,pain in lower left abdomen at times radiates in to back . Gi ;s are puzzled primary is puzzled I feel like I just cant handle it any more. One doctor thinks I may have adhesions from a surgery I had twenty years ago for a E-TOPIC pregnancy? I say WTF , he wants me to have a laparoscopic procedure to see what is going on if the capsule camera test doesn't show anything , I am so scared , I just want to be better and myself again and not be in this pain and feeling of uselessness . I know I cant go on like this It has changed from Diarerreah to Constipation, everyday is a challenge for me physically and mentally. WHAT MORE CAN I DOView Thread
I have been experience lower left abdominal pain , at times upper left as well and it sometimes can be felt in my lower let back. It started out as Diarerreah, I was told so many things u cant keep them straight. I have been told and given medicine for bacteria overgrowth , I was given a colonoscopy and told out than some diverticula pockets all was ok , I was given at one point medicine for h pylori due to a positive stool sample, then I was given a upper GI and told all was ok I had some inflammation that was little in my stomach but that was all , I have acid reflux and have had to switch from omeprazole to Dexilant , I had two CT scans and x-rays and ultrasounds that I was told was normal. One day after being told 2nd CT was normal , I got a phone call 4 days after being in Er that they seen internal hernia, that call came from the ER doc who treated me. My primary care as well as surgeon that I saw was not able to see this on the report or image and when reports were requested at the hospital by them . The pain is still there and now what I am experiencing is constipation and the same lower left abdominal pain , unanswered questions I am depressed over all of this . Yesterday I had a MRA with injectable contrast material , not sure what this will show but I am scared depressed and feel alone , What will this mra tell and what could be going on , I have had trouble eating at times because of all of this. I Have watched what I eat and lost weight some of it trying to and others because I just felt like I couldn't eat .View Thread
I am trying not to give up but there are just so many unanswered questions . I went to my Primary Doctor yesterday and went thought the entire story all over again. I told him about my symptoms of lower left abdomen pain that sometimes is in my upper left abdomen and it radiates in my back , I told him how sometimes it wakes me up at night , I explained how I feel and the tests that I have had . I started with a colonoscopy I was told other than diverticula pockets (which is normal for someone my age) all was ok , same with my upper GI being normal it showed minor inflammation of stomach , my CT were normal (I had two) and I also had x-rays and a virginal ultrasound That showed a cyst on my ovary , he didn't think that what is causing the pain. The MRA I had was ok . So the pain still goes on . He told me to go back to my GI doc and have some capsule test for my digestive system, he tells me he is really stumped a surgeon and GI i doc have suggested adhesions from a surgery I had 20 years ago and the possibility of having a laparoscopy done to determine this . I am at the end of my rope and don't know who to turn to . My life is upside down and somedays are so hard I don't want to get out of bedView Thread

The pain today was bad , I am going to my Primary tomorrow and throwing my self at his mercy. They type of pain I feel is on my left lower abdomen and sometimes upper left the pain radiates in to my back , test after test no answers its all too overwhelming . It controls my life. I need answers. I don't know who to turn to . Went for a second GI opinion and got no where . I went to a surgeon because first I was told it was a internal hernia and found out no hernia CT and MRA AND ULTRASOUNDS , and x-rays all ok . They only thing it showed was a small cyst on ovary which they don't think is cause of pain , I had surgery 20 years ago for a e-topic pregnancy , it was suggested to me maybe I have adhesions, I don't think that makes sense . But then again I don't know anymore. I only want to be out of the pain . I went from Diarerreah to constipation . I cant feel like this I cant function . I CANT THINK STRIAGHT ANY MOREView Thread
