I've been living with daily chest pain since I was pregnant with my 3 year old son. I feel so alone here because from what I've read my issue is rare to be this severe. I'm 25 and I feel like my life has been taken out of my own hands from the age of 21 and on. I'm just looking for someone who may understand a bit of what I'm going through! Thanks for reading!View Thread
The only cause they have to guess at is genetic links because I also have an aunt who suffers from this issue as well, but for her it's far less severe. I'm aware its common, I've just read and been informed that having it be so severe is uncommon. I've tried all medications that I've read can alleviate pain with little to no success. I take pain medications to manage symptoms and I have had botox injections twice so far. I'm waiting for a referral to a bigger hospital in SF to see a more experienced specialist, the next step would be surgery if they think I'm a good candidate.View Thread
