Have you ever had a work up done by a good gastroenterologist? There are tests they can do to see if you have intestinal bacterial overgrowth - 1 test is a breath test - another one is a small bowel follow through.
If you think it is the bacterial overgrowth which I had - I had to make a huge dietary change - no wheat, limited amount of sugar, no lactose - I was told to eat Gluten free. Also to limit my amount of fiber. All these things mention fed the bad bacteria.
I took the required amount of meds and changed my diet and have not any problems with the bacterial overgrowth again almost 2 years now.
If you go to the GI doctor and have tests done you might find out it could be something else going on. Your symptoms can be caused by other things - to me it would be worth looking into it.View Thread
Sorry that you are sick all the time not a fun place to be at it must be interrupting with school.
Maybe it is time to have your parents take you to see a Gastroenterologist or known as GI doctors. They can do tests to see if there is anything wrong with your stomach and or intestines that are making you throw up that much.
There are many reasons people get sick but it should be looked into.View Thread
Originally my GI thought I had Gastroparesis - so he sent me to a specialist who deals with it - turns out I have Generalized Intestinal Dysmotility because every thing from my esophagus down to my colon are affected.
Now that my colon is removed and I have an perm. ileostomy I can at least go to the bathroom.
Does any one else have this? How are you doing with it? I will be seeing a nutritionist tomorrow so that I can find the right foods to eat and or drink.
Would have to talk to others like me. DebbieView Thread
