At the current time this community board does not have a healthh professional to answer community members' questions.
Since you are or have been taking various medications please click on the Find a Drug link at the top of this board to look them up.
It's not possible for anyone to say what doctors you should go to. You know your body better than anyone else and if you are under the care of more than one doctor and you feel that you need to go back to your gastro doctor, please do. Many of the community members here do have GI doctors.
As you are taking medications for GERD or acid reflux disease please click on the Find a Drug link at the top of this board to look up Nexium or any other medication you may be taking. Please look at the side effects and if you think that they apply to you please talk to your pharmacist and doctor about it.
Take care and let us know how you're doing once you've talked to your doctor and pharmacist.
At the current time this community board does not have a health professional to answer community members' questions. I want to suggest that you think about getting a second opinion as you know your body better than anyone else. You are concerned that your chest pressure and pain could be an indicator of heart disease as you are not able to climb stairs without chest pain .
Remember that it's not possible for anyone to be diagnosed or treated over the internet. Read more about getting a second opinion by using the WebMD search engine.
Your question and post bring up a good point. Just because something is natural doesn't mean that you can't be sensitive or allergic to it.
As many community members here have various food allergies, they may be able to help you too. Realize that many skin care products also use products from the aloe vera plant so you may want to make sure that your skin care products don't include that either.
You mention that you've increased your fiber intake. Did you do this gradually or all at once?
Since you mention that you have problems with meals that contain fat and having a problem digesting alcohol, try visiting our Food and Cooking Community with Elaine Magee RD for help in fine tuning your diet.
