Have you ever worked with a therapist? How about a nutritionist? I had to work with both to understand 1. where my fears and obsessions were coming from and 2. how to get myself to a healthy weight. (BTW- I am the same height as you)
It's hard b/c the lower and lower you get, the more your mind does not work properly and you just get obsessed with numbers and meal planning. I really think you need to talk to someone about this, esp since your family is being "pushy."
Do you think your parents would be open to helping you find a counselor?View Thread

I asked my regular Dr- he had no idea. I should have asked the reproductive endocrinologist (sp?) I saw when I was trying to get pregnant, but at the time I did not think about what would happen after pregnancy and getting to a healthier weight. I will ask in the other forum, thanks!View Thread
