My Story:
I just wanted to share my story. I was Diagnosed with endometriosis after I had two beautiful blessings in my arms... Before I had children I never had any problems with my periods. Every once in a blue moon I would get a really heavy one with more pain than normal, but I just chalked it up to being a girl.
After my son was born I was adamant that I wanted to have the mirena put in so that I didn't have to worry about anything and hubby and I could be spontaneous... The best thing about being pregnant ;)... Well I only had it in for four months and things went from bad to worse. I was in pain all the time and bled for three months straight! During those three months I also had marked periods where the bleeding was noticably heavier so I could chart them... like i have always done. So month four rolls around and day 35 in my cycle and still no AF... but terrible pain. I went to the doc and he admitted me straight away. Took out the mirena and scheduled and D&C as well as some other procedures. I cried as they took me to the OR waiting room and I told my husband if they have to take out my uterus to save my life... Do it! He agreed and kissed me. I woke up scared to ask if it was all still there and my doctor was there saying we found endo blah blah blah and i just remember asking him do I still have a uterus can I still have kids? It was very traumatic experience and I would not wish it on anyone.
I am here to find support and to find some answers. :)

There is nothing better than a hot, soothing bath to relieve the aches and pains...More
