My Story:
Hi, my name is Carrie. I'm 29 years old and have an amazing husband! I was diagnosed with endo in 2008 when I had a lap to remove an endometrioma from my right ovary. My dr. also found that my left ovary was fused to my uterus. I was 17 when my periods, which were already unbearable started causing extreme back and hip pain and I started getting IBS symptoms as well. At 19 I started birth control pills to help eliminate ovarian cysts I was frequently getting. Not currently on bcp any more after about 8 years because of the side effects so I'm trying to find other ways to control the endo. I have found that regular exercise sometimes helps my periods be a little less intense.
