endo is classified by the number of adhesions, endometriomas and scar tissue one has.
so in essence the more they find the higher the stage.. stage 4 is like the highest class. i am stage 4 which was decided at my last surgery i had adhesions on my bowel bladder interstines. about 7 cysts and 2 endometriomas. my ovaries were fused to other organs as well as part of my intestine was pulled up and fused into my culdesac area.
the stages don't run off the amount of pain you are i. some women can have 1 small adhesion and be in debilitating pain and some can be riddled with it and enver even know.View Thread
I am glad to see old faces and new faces however this board has slowed down tremendously and i will take some blame for being MIA during the latter half of my pregnancy. but on to the future now.
GTKY is our getting to know you post. we do this just to keep the groove going and allow our members to feel a little more connected with eachother. we share so nmany negative things that we like to toss in a positive little pick me up every now and then
please still feel free to post any questions or concerns or even just vents seperate. this is not to discourage that. we all know thats still a necessity.
so for today i would like you ladies to post one thing that you are grateful for it could be anything ice cream, cute puppies etc. it could even be for a cute pair of heels.
i am grateful for my beautiful son and how he cries for me when daddy has him somtimes. i feel bad for my hubby but i have to admit it makes me happy that he likes me better lol...for now anyway..
well i hope you all participate if not maybe next time.
first of all you should not have been on lupron that long. 3 months at a time is best 6 months at the most. i just want to make sure your doctor has been doing bone density scans and all that stuff. since you are single are you going to do donor sperm? you will need to be off lupron for a while and re-regulate your period before you can move on to getting pg. are the fibroids bad? could surgery wait?
sorry for the questions but it is best to try to get pg right after you heal and are "all cleaned out" so that is the only reason i would suggest to wait for surgery but only if it is a possibility.View Thread
have never had pelvic congestion however i have taken BCP's continuously which i am doing right now and i do every few months have a period not breakthrough bleeding. my doctor says it is not uncommon and you really need to have a period every at least couple months to keep your lining from becoming overly thin. if it does become too thin them it will expose the capalaries which will also cause rregular bleeding..
i know because there was another woman no here a while back that it happened to and they had to put her on a 1 or 2 week hormone only RX to thicken it up some.
but as i always say if you are concerned beyond normal call your doctor. it can't hurt to ask.View Thread
we opted to try IUI's first at least. they were not succesful due to fertility issues on both sides but we figured we would rather try a couple time at a couple hundred bucks a pop versus 1 time at 10-15 grand a pop. but if you want to try there are many places that offer financing programs for IVF and it sounds strange but deals where if you fertilize multiple eggs they will freeze the extra and if the first time doesn't work they only charge for the doctor fees instead of all the meds and everthing else after that.
i got pg on lupron but our plan after 4 IUI's was to do ivf after my lupron and lap
but it is up to you.. some people like us at least give it a shot. i know one girl on here did get pg with an IUI but lost it because she had a split uterus.View Thread
