the reason i asked about "abnormal brain waves" was because os said "abnormal electric waves in my brain"....it just got me thinking about how my neurologist is always saying my eegs are "very abnormal" even if there is no seizure on there. I also identified with the absence seizure - i lose moments of time all the time, i will have to rewind the dvr because i miss part,( if im trying to pay attention.) I also will have to have someone go back and repeat something they said if they were telling a story, (and im interested) or i will be reading a book and can read a whole page or more, or less, and have to reread it because i have no memory of reading it , many many times i will have to do over things i just did because i feel like i never did them, but i think thats a whole different subject.. i always blamed it on my inability to concentrate and focus..due to many factors but i just was wondering if there was a possibility it was a seizure, one that showed up as abnormal brain waves but not a seizure. sorry candi, ive been doing research but im still learning, and i think im coming to one conclusion which is that i need to find a new neurologist. one that explains things to me. ...you had told me a long time ago to look for a new one and i finally think youre right. i should keep looking till i find one i truly like......os, i hope you have found some answers, sorry i am talking about myself here.View Thread

thats too bad about the felbatol. but im glad you are getting naps. about my.epilepsy.com, i checked it out, and found it way too complicated for me to even bother with.i just noticed they have a seizure journal link and it said it can go to your phone. i'll stick to my google docs, thank you. ..So you take the max dose of phenobarb? do you take it at night? we give that to dogs who have seizures and it seems to drug most of them up big time. you must have a very high tolerance! well have a good night, try to sleep well. (i'll probably be up all night) Its been nice talking with you

I'm still a newbie as you would say.I know i say this all the time but thank you everyone for allowing me to be a part of your group, and still standing by me after i (i dont know how to put it) but lets just say I wasnt myself. I appreciate all your support.View Thread
