I am very sorry you lost your husband. I offer my condolences & prayers. Since you are having sensitivity. This Dr. Sounds like he is very insensitive to his patents needs. You wouldbe well served finding another Neuro. As far as your meds that gave you a reaction. There was something in it that made you react negatively. My experience is that if a med causes a severe possible life threatening symptoms that stop immediately. Really though you need to find a Dr. You are comfortable with. Med sensitivity makes things difficult but not impossible. Being untreated is the absolute worst thing. I am glad you are taking the appropriate steps. Just because you had a bad reaction to 1 doesn't mean that all meds are bad. It is just finding what works best. Candi it a very knowledgeable person & knows her stuff. Hopefully the new Dr will be more understanding to your needs
They should also be able to help with a player for them too. They may also be able to help with computer software. I will do some checking into downloadable programs too for you & let you know what I find. Hope that helps.
Yes I have returned.. After a lengthy absence which I have been doing well but very busy. Hope all of you had a Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year. The holidays were good. it is just after where it gets really stressful. A couple of days ago I hear a frantic call across the room for help. My sons grandfather fell in the bathroom. For a ordinary person this wouldn't be a problem but bear in mind this is a rather large man. His balance is poor at best. It seems like he has pretty much given up. It is sad really. I spent the night with him in the hospital which in itself was an adventure to say the least. After getting morphine for the extreme pain he was in. He started to go into cardiac arrest or so I thought. I ran out to the nurses station & did what I was supposed to do. I had been up all day when the paramedics came to take him to the ER. I ended up putting myself in extreme danger with the combo of stress & sleep deprivation. By the time I was able to get home & get some sleep it was 36 hours later. No one else here knew of the danger I was putting myself in. i didn't think about it at the time I just knew he had to go to the hospital. I also knew that there was a possibility that he might not make it through the night. I don't know how I managed to get through with no seizures. but I did. It just seems that when there is a pressure situation I am usually the go to guy. I am not saying I don't ever crack under pressure but I am more of a take charge kind of person in situations such as this. He has made it through the night & is on the road to recovery. looks better he is just a little dopey from the powerhouse meds they have him on. So I guess you could say it all ended well for all.
This was just to good to keep to myself. I will keep you posted on what happens as I find out about it. My friend does not have Epilepsy but she said this is a cause she will gladly support. When I saw her post I was literally flooded with emotion.
I put the post up in the DS Football lovers group for the NFL to turn purple for the month of November. Here is Epland is going get turned on it ear. The founder of the group & a friend of mine saw this post. Turns out her son works in the Bridgestone Tire company. A major sponsor of the NFL. He is a Sales Manager for the corprate offices in Nashville, Tennessee. He is well liked by the higher ups all the way to the CEO. She also put in that it is Important to Momma. This was the best Idea I ever had.
Almost 70 degrees difference would be a major shock to anybodys system. how about 50's instead. I play mario bros. on rare occasions. My son & I are more into the WWE Wrestling video game. Kick butt. I am taking it they were not very nice words either. I had a banana split earlier in the day. was craving it. even in cold weather. How is you finger doing?
