I know I am not the first. Any how Welcome to the group. My name is Jason. Yikes I know the 3 things you got going on there have got to be causing a lot of pain. I to have TLE Mine is the left side of the brain. If I do happen to miss something it is more than likely due to the fact that I am also legally blind. Slip & fall head trauma. I am on Tegratol XR. Well as was stated by others this was my turn on the med merry go round. I have been on several different seizure meds. Also like Angie I don't let having epilepsy rule me. I live my life on my terms. I at one time was on a bowling league & will be going back to it when my living arrangements are taken care of. A place of my own. I have had epilepsy since a teenager was dormant for about 10 years or so & the slip & fall accident brought it back.

Don't worry I am not going to shoot the messenger. I should have known bi-polar was linked to. My ex gf has bi-polar. I just never thought about it. No worrys about the length of it. I see some things that absolutely made me cringe. Such as hitting the street at 35 mph. Although I don't take keppra any more I use to. I shared that experience in another post some time ago. I have 2 occurances of being diagnosed with EP. First when I was a teen. ( my mom had a seizure when I was born during the delivery). I am very sorry he had to relearn how to do the most basic thing. I know how it can be from a head trauma. I had one on a concrete floor. was completely blind for about 72 hours or so. Adjusting is so difficult at first its unreal. I hope you are doing better today Nancy.

I was afraid that might be the case. I just hope it never happens.

First I would like to say about your best friends husband is. Thank You for your service to this country & fighting to keep us free. I know they will miss him very much & welcome him home with open arms. Separation of a loved one can be hard on a family. Yes I do get to see him on weekends. We also communicate through text, email, facebook & phone. It was just very hard after seeing him everyday for a few months & now only weekends.
But there is more to this than i am willing to say at the moment. Maybe in a separate post.View Thread
I get that on a yearly basis. Sometimes 2 or 3 times a year. Massive fever an headache to go with it is usually the case for me to.View Thread
