Hi Haylen, Thanks for the info. I Looked even though I have not created the Blindness & visual impairment group yet. Am I going to have to do it under general or is there something I am missing here? The only catagory that even comes remotely close is eye health. Feel kinda dumb asking. I am new to this please help me.
EMAGALSKY, I do agree with you to a point. Sleep is very important. Stress I mention all the time. As well as a host of other conditions beyond EP. Also I find when a person has a illness dehydration can also trigger seizures as well. I have found this to happen a lot.
Yes you did suggest me for that group. I was approved already. Not on facebook daily like I use to be. The vision & memory problems explain a lot. It is even worse when you add a head trauma into the mix. Sorry to hear about your husband. There has got to be some solution to the problem somewhere. My grandfather use to ask me where his glasses were after a while when he was searching I would ask him did you happen to check the top of your head & there they were.
Candi, No my son was not taken from me.. I am glad you asked this question made me think & remember something.
Seizure mother, Typically they don't take custody away from parents unless one or more of the following is proven. If by staying with the parent is the childs life in danger? is the any abuse? ie ( physical, sexual or psychological?) Can the parent provide the necessary care required? Is the parent to be deemed unfit? There are also some others i cant really remember at the moment. My best advice to you is. Under no circumstances go into that court room with out legal council. Get yourself a lawyer protect yourself. if you cannot afford one get in touch with legal aid. this is the best i can do. hope it helps you.
That is a very good question. My initial response would be yes, but with some things to consider. Are you on meds to help control your seizures? If on meds do they control them? These are questions to ask yourself & the court will more than likely ask these questions as well as others I haven't thought of yet. If your answer to the Questions I asked is no. Then I would tell you no for my answer.
Angie, I will let you know when it is up & running. That would be wonderful the more the merrier. I will be setting it up very soon. Candi It will be for all types of blindness & visual impairment. Not just related to me but to all. I am also looking for an expert in this field. It will be open to families & friends of the blind & of course blind people & supporters of the blind & all visual impairment. The expert doesn't need to be a doctor though.
