Hi, I read your post. I was just wondering if the migrane was on the right side or the left side of your brain? Have you ever had your potassium check after a seizure? I would have a siezure every time I go on an extensive diet. After spending two weeks in the hospital and tens of thousands of dollars in hospital bills, they found nothing. I began researching it and found that low potassium will cause seizures. The next time I had a seizure, I woke up in the ER, I asked the nurse to check my potassium, and she confirmed that it was too low. she begin a potassium IV in my arm. Now I take no seizure medicine but I keep potassium pills in my purse and if I get a migrane on the left side of my brain I know my potassium is low. I have not had a seizure in 3 yrs.
I am a litle upset at the medical community for not checking my potassium all the many times I ended up at the hospital. My doctor just wanted to keep treating me as if I had epilesy.View Thread
