This semester she is doing a 4 credit co-op so there will be no school stress for her. The clobozam or frisium seems to help her anxiety levels. When your daughter goes for bloodwork or any type of testing can your doctor not prescribe her a small dose of adavan ... this may calm her ... its what they give epileptics in emerg when theyre having a grand mal.
Praying for you mom ... I do know what it's like but my husband has gotten help and it's incredible to see Gods hand working in his life...the anger and stress is not good for her...
I live in Canada...but if you want to chat more send me an e-mail at doubledots66@hotmail.com or if you want send me your e-mail.
Blessings to you and as well stay strong mom.View Thread

I haven't been in touch but have been reading up on everything.
How is your daughter doing? How are you doing?
First of all I don't know if you know about emla patches, they numb the area of where she has to get the blood work done.
You can put them on an hour before she gets it done. I have done this with Katie since she was young.
Also Katie too had to have her meds adjusted but with the
epival she now takes frisium which is in the clobozam family
this seems to lessen her anxieties with having epilepsy as a young teenage girl.
When Katie goes to sleep at night every morning she awakens aand has no memory of the day before. This has been happening since august. She stays strong and we have incredible support from our church. Katie has always had strong faith and absolutley loves her youth group and pastor.
She stresses with school tho because teens can be cruel.
Anyways, stay strong mom I do understand the heartache and how difficult it is when mom cant fix it.View Thread

How is your daughter doing.
My daughter is 16 and last year she too suffered a horrible seizure that caused memory loss for over 10 weeks.
She too did not know family she knew I was mom but had no memory of her childhood.
Please e-mail me if you want someone to chat with.
