I just wanted to post my experience in hopes that it could help somebody. I've been suffering from a gradual on-set of ED since I was about 20 (39 now). I began to lose sensitivity in my penis which led to difficulty reaching orgasm and gradually the ability to get an erection. I have none of the risk factors of ED and could not remember ever sustaining a groin injury. I went to a urologist, neurologist and an endocrinologist and they said everything was fine. I was sure it was not "in my head" as I did not have morning erections and, like I said, had total numbness in my penis. I could get erections but they were weak and, since I had no feeling, they would not last during sex.
For some reason, I was convinced my problem was with the nerve from the sacrum through my pelvis/perinium were the problem. For the past few years, I would stretch and also try to pull this area apart manually in hopes of letting the nerves transmit...This may sound silly, but you'll do anything if there's a chance it may work. I was born with moderate metatarsus varus (pigeon-toed) so I was thinking maybe my perineum was tighter than other people's and that was causing my ED. Anyway, the pulling and stretching is working. I am regaining full sensitivity in my penis and am getting full erections. For me, it feels like there is an "extra layer" in my perineum. I am ripping something open and it is giving me the feeling that I was missing. At first I thought it could be important connective tissue, but I was persistant that this was causing my problem. I am at about 90% now and expect to be at 100% soon.
I wanted to post this because it might possibly help others. I looked all over the internet and never came close to finding an answer to my problem. I see a lot of guys with the same symptoms as me but they never get answers from their dr's. FView Thread
