I had recurrent corneal erosion and my doctor immediately performed anterior stromal puncture. This was about 5 weeks ago. I have had 3 corneal erosion episodes since then and wondered if this was normal or if I need to have the procedure performed again. My doctor did state sometimes it took 2 procedures to fully fix the problem. I really hope this is just part of the healing process, but I have the feeling it didn't "take" like it should have.View Thread
Thanks for the reply. That makes perfect sense. I've noticed on each occasion since the procedure, that the pain seems to come from the outer part of my cornea, not centered like it initially began. I'll make another appointment and see what my Dr finds.
