what more information do you need? Ive been to 3 different eye drs. 2 within the same group then one who treats my primary dr. about 2 weeks ago. They all say my eye is perfectly fine and its allergy related. Its hardly noticable at times to be honest. Just being the fact that its not perfectly matched up with the right eye bothers me.View Thread
Also note that I do wear contacts but had removed them for 3 weeks with no change really. I also workout alot and take protien powder supplements and a pre workout drink. I stopped those for 2 weeks and no change. Also changed my pillow as well. I truely think although it could be a coinsidence that whatever I got in my eye triggered this. But you would think if its an infection antibiotics would clear it right? On the other hand if it was allgeriges OTC pills and drops like Pataday would help with the puffiness. And like I said an allergy in one eye? Doesnt make senseView Thread
4 months ago I got a little rock/pebble/dirt in my eye at the gym. 5 days later I woke up with a puffy upper and lower eyelid. I ran to the eye dr. because I thought I stye was forming. I was put on antibiotic drops. The redness and swelling went down on the upper lid but the lower lid was still slightly puffy. So I went back for more treatment. This time I was put on steroid pills and drops. But that didnt work either in shrinking the lower lid back to normal. The eye dr. said there's nothing wrong with my eye and is trying to put the puffiness on allergies. Allergies in 1 eye?? So I went to an allergist for treatment. I had some mild reactions to mold, pollen but nothing to really say oh thats it! So the allergist put me on antibiotoics. I was on amoxocillian for 15 days with no change what so ever. Actually the upper eyelid got red the first day and puffed up a bit. Then the redness went down again but still was puffy. So I stopped the antibiotics and got a second opinion from another eye dr. Again he told me my eye was perfectly fine and basically to stop chasing it and worrying about it. He said theres no more medicine to give me. Just let it take its course. Im still having issues though. It gets red and bloodshot sometimes. The puffiness is still lingering in there. Some days its looks bigger then others. I dont know where to turn.View Thread
