My brother came home the other day with a reddened eyelid. He said it was sore to blink and is a little itchy. Ive done a little reading and a friend suggested blupharitis but its the first time its happened and there is no discharge or "crusting" of the eye. It is mainly the eyelid that is affected by his symptoms. He wasnt hit in the eye with anything and has no allergies so I'm not sure what else it could be. It just came on very suddenly with no apparent cause and he refuses to seek medical attention unless it worsens serverly due to his phobias of people touching or even being near his eyes. Does anyone have any other ideas as to what could be causing his eyelid pain and discomfort?View Thread
