Of course a check by your eye doctor is best but you can probably do just fine with the "cheaters" sold by a number of different stores. I got a very nice, crystal-clear set of readers through my doctor. I also got a set of cheap readers/cheaters from a drug store as backup. They both work great and my reading prescription hasn't changed in well over five years.
In fact, get two sets of the drug-store readers. Keep the really good ones from your eye doctor at the office. You can keep the others at home since they are likely to be knocked around and scratched more often there and you can just replace them when they get marred.View Thread
