I am a 23 year old male that is experiencing a very horrible conjunctivitis. I went to the doctors two days ago and he said he has never seen this type of conjunctivitis before and it looks like the bottom eyelids are infected in both eyes. He prescribed me Ciprofloxacin (Ciloxan) Eye Drops. I have used them 3x in each eye the first day I got them. 2x morning yesterday, 2X at night before bed last night, and 2x this morning. So far I feel they have gotten worse than better with these drops.
Can anyone provide some guidance? I originally thought this was HayFever. It started on Thursday, August 8th as a mildly pink eyes (both eyes) and I was sick on Sunday night and vomited due to a splitting headache and when I woke up Monday morning it was super red!
I am awaiting a call from my doctor for an eye specialist.
