Dr P., one month ago my vitamin D level was at 5.3 and my Rhuematologist gave me 50.000 units of vitamin D a week for the next four months, my question is how long does it take to get the levels back up to normal after being so low?
My Dr also told me I should start feeling better within a few weeks and as of yet I have seen no change. Can I still expect to feel better soon or is it possible I will not see a change?
A few weeks ago I asked a question about MCTD. Does vitamin D play a role with this also?
Jim, with me it doesn't make any diffrence if it is warm or cold. I hurt reguardless. One day last week I felt fantastic and the next I felt I had been hit by a Mack truck. There is no apparent reason unless I over do it to my pain and fatigue.
I do think for some it is cyclical in nature but not for all.
Robyn, I am truly sorry for your loss and my prayers will be with you and your loved ones. What a blessing for such a peaceful passing surrounded by the ones she loved and who loved her dearly. God bless you and yours.
I am disabled now but I remember what it was like trying to work through a severe pain day. If you can try standing for a while and moving around, that's what I used to do. Have you considered one of those chair massagers with heat. I had one at my desk and it helped somewhat.
Hope as the afternoon the pain eases for you and you feel much better. Take care.
