Hi, I had a really good doctor who was there for me as I was diagnosed 8 years ago and then helped me manage my symptoms and become stable. I lost him 6 months ago because of Medicare coverage. It has been very painful and difficult. Have any of you lost a really good doctor? I have started seeing a new doctor but not sure if I want to put the energy into forming a relationship with him. I have a blog http://imissmetoo.me where I have put a couple of posts about this if you are interested in reading more. Warmly, PatView Thread
I am currently taking Lyrica & Savella and pain is controlled quite well. I know that decreasing either of them is brutal so I would agree with Mike that it may be withdrawal from the Lyrica. I feel for you because I know the frustration of not being able to figure out what is causing our symptoms. It takes a lot of trial and error and I found I did best with the help of my doctor. I know it seems like that is all we do but if you have a good doctor, s/he should be able to help you sort it out. What is hard is hanging on during the initial side effects as our bodies get use to the change in meds.View Thread
