I agree everyone has different levels of fibro pain. Also, depression isn't something we ask for - its something we have to deal with. Depression makes everything hard - even getting out of bed in the morning. Sympathy for others can go along way.View Thread
Your not alone. FM does affect women more than men but your not alone. We still have the same problems as you just different in some ways.
I stopped working but can't get disability because I worked for the town for several years part-time and towns don't pay into SS for their employees in some states. Also, I didn't work any other jobs because raising my 2 little ones (17 months apart)with no help (I have a husband that refused to change diapers or make a bottle) so basically a single mom with the benefit of a paycheck.
Male or female people look at you like your just plain lazy when you tell them you have FM.View Thread
Perhaps your feeling worse because of the move. Moving is among lifes major changes right up there with divorce or getting married. Its alot of work and stress and for us FM's its even more exhausting.
Hopefully, you'll feel better with time. I agree with you - let the one's that don't understand slide.View Thread
Its not about me giving them another chance. People don't want to do for others anymore.
Even my own sisters don't help. It hurts alot. My sister's know my health situation. I have two young kids who don't get to do even a portion of the things other kids do because I can't physically keep up.View Thread
