I have no friends and fibro makes it hard to make new ones.15% (22)

My husband makes me feel like I'm a burden.
My kids are young so I feel bad that I can't take them places and do as much as other Mom's. They are really missing out because of me.View Thread

I was on Lyrica - I had memory loss so bad I thought I had dementia or a brain tumor. Turns out 9% of people on lyrica have this problem. So I'm no longer on lyrica. I'm on cymbalta, ibephrofen, tramadol, and nuvegil (nuvegil only some of the time). My pain level is high and I just want to cry.
Has anyone tired alternative medicine approaches? I tried chiropractic but I couldn't hold the adjustment. I tired accupunture but after months it got very expensive and was only getting me from week to week - no long term results.
It is hard looking fine on the outside and hurting so much inside. The lack of support from everyone is hurtful and depressing.View Thread

My husband, kids and family (sisters, etc.) are not supportive. I feel so alone. Without friends - I can't keep up with everyone else because I'm so tired all the time. I lack energy to go anywhere or do anything. I haven't worked in a few years because I get so exhausted after working a few hours.View Thread
