After experimenting with available drugs, I have settled on a regimen that seems to work best for me. I take Soma 350 mg, Gabapentin 600 mg, Adderall 30 mg, Guaifenesin 1600 mg, COQ10 200 mg, Magnesium 800 mg, Oscal 600 mg, Fish oil 3000 mg, Vitamin D 2000 iu, Multivitamin, Advil PM(2). I'm always ready to try new drugs, but have found that most of the prescription drugs have unpleasant, or unsafe side effects.View Thread
Adderall was prescribed because I was sleeping about 16 hours a day. It has made a tremendous difference. It has taken 10 years of constant research and trial and error with meds and their side effects to come to my regimen. The Adderall cleared my "fog" and I was amazed that I could again work my word and number puzzles that had become impossible to do. We are all on the same quest for relief, and perhaps each has to find his own customized formula. I realize mine is not a cure, but symptoms do not have to be so debillitating if you have the courage to try everything available. If you hear about a grannie in Texas busted for pot, it could be me! I would view it as a great opportunity to compare the relative effectiveness and dangers with such toxic prescriptions that are prescribed every day. If it comes to a marijuana show-down, at least I can march in the protest parade! I couldn't have done that before. I don't argue with results. It's just not logical! 4" Memory foam mattress topper is also GREAT! By the way, I never drive after smoking, just as I would never drive back in the day when I drank socially. Just common sense, folks. If we can get to that point without injecting the idea that prejudiced opinions about some treatments are valid even if there is nothing factual to support them. After dealing with Fibro for 10 years I decided to try everything.View Thread
