Look through the discussions for a test (off site) on CFS. Test your IQ. I think you'll learn something there. They say CFS is as debilitating as MS and heart disease. That should get the point across.
Look at bottom of page you'll see more discussions. I Belive I put the web address up last week

Try some gentle stretching and walking and then work your way up. For me one day of activity (too much) is 1-2 days to recover.
My fibro Dr still has me restricted to 5 mins a day, then I broke a bone in a fall. You must start slow and pace yourself. Listen to your body.
Take care and good luck
Glad you have a Dr trying things for you!View ThreadINCLUDES OUR LOVED ONES

We are a mixed group of ladies and always look forward to a newbie
Glad your open to wanting to join in!Remember if your having a bad day put up a post and we will offer all the support we can! Better yet if you just need to vent, do it right here and get it out of your system!! Trust me we understand and most of us have. I'm fairly new and everyone's been so kind.
I'm working on suggesting to people they post their health issues on your user name page. Then everyone can know how tough your struggle is and it helps in offering ideas.
Welcome and sending you a smile!

. I'll settle. He got home tonight at 6pm and just stood up at 8pm and said I don't know how the hell you do it. I only got 4hrs sleep last night. I should have been kind but have a go to ER migraine and heard my self just say "multiple it."
There's a big heart drawn on his mirror for the morning. Hope we all share our good stories more often. I love to read them.View Thread

I told the instructor I felt sick and a failure. My rescue squad were in their late 80's. They all lauged and chatted and said they all had the same thing happen

I thought everyone was just starting out so why couldn't I keep up! Turns out it's an open ended class.
I asked my Dr for a script so I could work with the on site PT to learn exercises to help me work on my own and my pace.
This was 5 yrs ago. The water takes gravity off our hurting bodies. Try just walking back and forth until your stronger.
Don't stop it's great treatment. Just watch getting out of the pool when gravity hits. Somedays I had to stop on the stairs and just stand there and rest. Oh yes make sure there's a place to sit. You can have the weak shakes and be dizzy.
Good luck. Try it for at least a month. I would sit and relax then go into hot tub for a few mins. Sometimes a light massage. You'll sleep that nt. Sending a smile
