Your knees should be checked, xrayed. Sounds like maybe arthritis is starting? Many of us have this also. I just broke a bone in my knee. They said oh my goodness your Kness are sooo swollen. I didn't notice cause I'd been on steroids. They were as large as my lower thighs. Crazy
Anyway I got a shot in the one they could do. I'm proud to say I have a kneecap

My balance is awful and I keep canes every where. Always one in the car. I don't like it but it was a fall that broke the bone.
I was so active when I was younger. Last one down kinda thing. Now my fibro Dr has me still on 5 mins a day. That's not a shower for a girl!
Keep your sense of humor it helps. Sending a smile

You want covered controls, dual, that gives you 4 patches to apply and control separately You also want a timer with auto off. If using on your neck and they lift, apply paper medical tape. ( drugstore ) holds them in place.
I suggest using preset programs before venturing out to make your own. Sending a smile

I would print much of the info off site here and give it to your HR person. Be careful. Sometime they get caught up in disibility issues etc, and start looking for ways to get rid of you. Perhaps without your name send info saying you work for the company and they need to be informed about your chronic conditions.
The company I worked for had a male come forward and state he was HIV positive and wanted to cut his hours back. He had worked for the agency for 14 yrs. the HR person called all mgrs for a "educating" meeting. The mgr in his office went right back and quietly told everyone he was Ill. Their response, they held signs up outside the office in protest the next morning and wouldn't go in until he left. Seems they forgot how many years they worked rt next to him. He died 3months later.
You never fully know anyone. Be careful. Companies are looking for any and all ways to save a dollar.
I wish you support and good thoughts as you deal with the stress of working on top of fibro. It's hell. I hope they respond in a positive way. Mine transferred me from a couple blocks where I was working to 40 miles one way from my house. (there was an opening just 2blks from where I was). Forced retirement. I'm lucky. We don't need that second check so it was a wonderful time on good days. Can't remember the last good day. Maybe week before Christmas and boy set off a flare I'm still fighting -that I'm now thinking MUST be something else.
Sending you a smile

I'd been sickly all my life with migraines (6th grade) and tons of respatory stuff. Blood poisoning at age 12. None of it made sense because I didn't respond to treatment like reg people.
I now have major hearing loss in both ears, they feel its from the many times and MASSIVE doses of antibiotics I was given my whole life. We are afraid to use them now for fear I want respond when I'm really in trouble.
We didn't know things like that when I was young. Heck my mom had a screaming melt down in the ER room when the Dr told her that the 2" red line running up my arm past my elbow was in "my mind".
My issues with the medical field goes way back!
But your post has given me the courage to ask a question I've been having a problem with for a long time.
Thanks
