Hi FMily. I am at my brother and sister in law's house for Thanksgiving. I don't have internet at home, yet... I go to my public library about once a week.... Anyway, last night, here at their house, I had a horrible night. I didn't sleep a wink and my feet were off the chart with tingling, burning, stabbing sensations. My body hurt soooo bad and I couldn't find a soft place to sleep. The "strange" bed felt too hard and I could not relax. It gave me a chance to tell my family about the fibro. It is hard to explain, but when I started reading some of the discussions from the fibro community, they seemed to understand more.
I have a question... Does anyone have any good tips on travel with fibromyalgia? I also have restless legs and take ropinorole (Requip generic). Have a great day on Black Friday. JaRayeView Thread
Thanks for your reply JBird. I know. I have those lumps, too. I don't have internet at home, so some responses will be slow. I go to the library to look things up. Glad to be in the fibro community with you.View Thread
Hi JamesMary. I am new to the community today, but I do want to comment on your question. Yes. It seems like I am put on a stage in front of a thousand people when I am just trying to communicate to even a family member or a close friend. I have to repeat my A's a lot and that's hard because my daughter's name starts with an A. I sometimes feel like I have to re-start a word just to get the whole thing out. I think my friends and family are finally figuring all of this out, too. View Thread
Hi. Today is my first day in the discussion of FM. My biggest question was about the burning and tingling pains in my feet and ankles, but I have read all of your comments and now feel I am not alone there..... but.... do any of you have lumps/bumps and a corded feeling under the skin of your thighs? Hard to explain, but I know if anyone has this, then you will know what I mean.View Thread
