Dear Mimi,
I too feel so bad for your daughter and your family. It is sad when a honest person has to suffer so much from an dishonest person. One thing we know for sure is that he will get his when he faces out good Lord. I will pray for you and your daughter.

Your not over the hill until you are under the hill.
Dear Jillylin,
I understand exactly what you are going through. Stress can effect you in so many different ways. I lost my younger brother January 23, 2013. He was my mom's care giver.I had to find her 24 hour care, someone to get groceries for her and to deliver her medications. I did not realize how much my brother did for her. I tried to get her to move to north Florida with me, but she refuses to leave her home in Tampa. January 13th, while my brother was still in ICU I discovered my husband had a 33 year girlfriend on the internet. He said since I was too sick from FM and recent knee surgery that he found a woman that could take care of his needs. So we are now in the process of getting a divorce. I have never hurt as bad as I have in the last 2 months. My doctor doubled my Cymbalta which has helped a lot.
One thing I like to do is put on some really good music and find a quite spot to sit or lay down. I use head phones so the outside world does not bother me. I will sing along or just relax. It really helps me. Sometimes going for a drive by myself with good music in the CD player. Things will start to get better soon. You just have to be sure to take some "me" time and the heck to anyone who doesn't understand.
I am so sorry for the loss of you Mom. I will pray for you and your dad. Have you called your doctor to explain the extra stress you are under. He/she may be able to help also.
Gentle hugs,

I barely made it before Friday was over! Just got home from taking DH stuff to his new homed. He is totally moved out now. I get to sleep all by self except for my cocker spaniel mix dog. No one to hog the covers or complain because the television is too loud!
Tomorrow my twin brother and I are celebrating our birthday. Our whole family is coming over for a picnic style party. It is going to be in the low 70's! That is one good thing about living in Florida. I tried to find a batmitten set at Wal-mart, but the clerk said they do not come out until March.
I hope everyone has a great weekend. Soft hugs to all!

Happy Hump Day!
Things are looking up here. My husband is almost moved out. He will be out by Friday. I am looking forward to being single again. Or at least that is what I am hoping for. He will be having his 33 year old girlfriend move in with him in a couple of weeks. He is 61 years old. I have to laugh when I think about what she is getting herself in to. She deserves what she gets!
The weather here is pretty. In the low 70's. It did rain a little today. My birthday is Saturday. I am looking forward to a birthday party my family is throwing me. We are having an outside picnic party. My twin brother will there too. I do not think him and I have ever spent a birthday apart. It is sad my youngest brother will not be here. He died January 23, just one week after his birthday.
I am off from work this week. I am cleaning my home from end to the other. I clean one small area and then rest. It has taken me two days to clean my livingroom. I am trying to pace my self so I do not have a flare. I am already in such pain from the stress of getting a divorce and my brother dying. Each day gets a little better.
Gentle hugs to all! DebbieView Thread

Dear JojoF,
It is not wrong to fell bad about being in pain. FM takes away part of our lives. I fell so you bad you are so young and having to deal with FM. Hopefully things will improve as you find ways to deal with the problems of FM. This website has many suggestions that have helped me. The members here are so wonderful. We all have at one time or another felt sorry for ourselves. We are blessed to have a place to vent. It would be so hard to deal with FM all alone.
I take Cymbalta, Flexeril a muscle relaxer, and Motrin for pain. I am lucky that I found what worked for me the first time and I do not have side effects from the meds. I do suffer with headaches and restless leg syndrome. I am still trying to find relief for them. Do not worry about how many meds you think. Just think about how bad you would feel if you did not have them.
You are in my prayers and I hope you keep posting here. Soft hugs to you. DebbieView Thread

Dear Fran R,
Please know you are in my prayers. I had no idea a flare could last that long. A week is the longest for me and I did not think I would make it through it. I got a IPod for Christmas and I love to put on my earphones and listen to an audio book. It blocks out the world. It does really help with the pain. I just started listening to the Bible and I love it.
I pray things will get better soon for you. Soft hugs, DebbieView Thread

Your not over the hill until you are under the hill.
I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers for my brother that has been in ICU since December 24th. Sadly he passed away on January 23rd. Luckily my mom was with him holding his hand. She told him it was okay to go, that she would be okay. He then closed his eyes and died. I will miss him so much. He was such a good brother.
On top of my brother dying, I discovered my husband has a 33 year old girlfriend on the Internet . He is 61. They have been planning on getting married for some time. When I asked my husband why, he said I have been too sick lately. Between the knee surgery I has the first of November and the FM he felt his needs where not being met. It tore my heart out when he told me that. Since I have had a few days to get over the shock, I think I will enjoy being single again. He is moving out this weekend.
Thanks again for your prayers. Gentle hugs to all.
