I also have cramps in my feet, legs, arms, and hands. I also went the the neurologist and he told me I am fine. Not only do I get cramps and can't walk but I also fall a lot. The neurologist told me that my balance is fine and to get shoes that aren't so cute. Can you believe that!!!! I also passed out on Saturday just sitting on a chair.
They have checked me for MS but feel everything I have going on is FM. Who knows? I do get tired of the pain at night though.View Thread
I don't usually post on here but I read all of your posts and get great advice from you all. Thank you for that.
Here is my question. Does anyone else get extremely hot all the time. I have thought it was part of menapause but now I am wondering if it's part of FM. When I say extremely hot..I mean I can just be sitting and get so hot I am going crazy. I have my air conditioner at 64 degrees in my house. If I start doing anything that takes a little more movement I turn beet red and everyone thinks I need to go to ER. My body gets so overheated I need to sit down with ice packs to cool myself down a little bit.
I am finding I have a new symptom. I have had soreness in my elbows and wrists, but as of the last 2 days my left wrist feels like it's broken I know it's not broken I haven't done anything that would have caused it to be broken. But man, it hurts so bad. I am even thinking of getting a brace.
Does anyone else have that type of pain with FM?View Thread
I can't believe how bad of a day I am having!!!! I hurt all over today and I am exhausted. The Chronic Fatigue is kicking in today. Unfortunately I had to come to work. Let's see if I can make it through the day.
I hope everyone has a better day than I am. TGIF!!View Thread
I also have had major eye problems. Not only can I not wear contacts any longer, my eyesite has drastically changed. I now have double-vision and no matter what prescription they put in my glasses my one eye stays at 20/25. My eyesite changed every month for approximately 6 months. It has been hell!!!View Thread
Squarley...I too had migraines all the time. They just put me down for a day or two. I had the migraines before I got diagnossed with FM. I started eating gluten free and that seemed to help a lot. I am not having as many migraines as I was. I only have 1 every few months now. Not that it is a cure all, but I do think the gluten free has helped. Good luck!! I really like this site because it makes me realize I am not alone in our quest and pain.View Thread
Thanks both of you. I had my Vitamin D checked right before they diagnosed me with FM and it was low so I am taking 2000 mg a day. And you are correct. Trial and error seems to be the thoughts of the day I started eating Gluten Free right after I got diagnosed and it does help also. I totally know when I cheat because I pay for it the next day.
I am just glad for this site because it shows that we aren't alone. You think you have lost your mind when things happen and you wonder what this is
