I had TP injections on my lower back that didn't do anything for me at all. I did get an injection in my shoulder though that helped for about a month. It was a blissful month though with no pain. It did come right back after the month.View Thread
Very interesting. I don't have the tingling in my face but I just got diagnosed with peripheral edema also. I hadn't had this before but my ankles and hands have started swelling and they have started me on diuretics. They have me on a really low dose, but so far it doesn't seem to be working.
I was also wondering if this could be part of fibro or something totally different. I am very curious to see how everyone responds.
I have the same thing. I also have this large bump on my right ankle. I haven't injured my ankle. It's a big bump that feels like it's filled with fluid. I have had it for about 4 weeks. I finally called the doctor because it has been hurting too.View Thread
I also try to follow the Gluten free diet. I do feel better when I follow it. Please know that it won't necessarily help you lose weight. You have to still watch what you eat. There is a lot of gluten free items that aren't necessarily healthy for you. For instance potatoes. But the gluten free does help with inflammation and I do feel better when I am on it.View Thread
Yes. I started falling last year also. I have fallen 4 times in the last 6 months. I have always fallen on my right ankle. But these times I fell on my left ankle, my knee and on my back. I don't know what causes it either. I went to a neurologist and he told me my gate was fine and that I just need to not wear such cute shoes. REALLY!!! I haven't falled in a while...but I do bump into things, fall over and have a lot bruises and bumps. It's very annoying!!!View Thread
Thanks everyone for all of the great comments. It helps to know you are not the only one going crazy I live in Northern California so it's hot in the summer. I just got a convertible and I have my top down all the time. Even when it's 50 degrees out. It's a great help.View Thread
The neurologist told me my fainting spell was probably no big deal. I was probably just really excited about my niece's wedding that day. NOT!!!
The funny thing about the shoes is I was wearing shoes that were flat and I have stopped wearing high heels so that I don't fall. Both times I fell though I was wearing flat shoes I just thought his comment was hysterical.View Thread
