I take Lyrica for my fibro and was taking Elavil (only 5mg's) to help me sleep but it stopped working. I realize I probably should have raised up my dosage of it as my dr. advised but I really didnt like the way it was making me feel. Every am I was waking up feeling like a hangover and I hate feeling like that when I wake up. I just stopped taking it and decided to try 5HTP instead. Has anyone tried this? Please advise. Thanks!View Thread

I have fibro and my neck has really been bothering me. I sleep on a memory foam pillow and I think it may be making my neck worse. What kind of pillows does everyone use? I saw a gel foam pillow in the store and was wondering about those. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.View Thread

Has anyone used 5HTP? Was it a positive or negative experience for you? What are the side effects you have experienced? Does anyone know if this is safe to take with Lyrica and Elavil? I take Lyrica 75mg day for fibro and Elavil (only 5mg) at night to sleep. I had read about 5HTP and was curious about it. What is a good dosage to take? I dont want it to have the opposite affect on me? I had read that it can keep you up at night. Any info is greatly appreciated! Thanks!View Thread

Does anyone follow a gluten free diet just to help with fibro? I am skeptical about this. I was tested for Celiac's disease but the result was negative. I am on Lyrica for fibro pain and Elavil for sleep. I really need to lose some weight. I know that gluten free diet will help me to lose weight and I think having less weight on me will help with the pain. I'm pretty sure the Lyrica contributes to the weight. I know the gluten free diet is very restrictive so Im nervous about being about being able to stick with it. I thought I had read somewhere that it helps fibro patients. I asked my physician about this and he said he has never heard of it helping fibro patients but I could try it for weight loss. Thoughts?View Thread

Has anyone heard of Dr Rodger Murphee? Thoughts on his protocol? Thanks!View Thread
