Well it has been a while since I have been on. Since Jan I have had 5 funerals and completely slammed at work. I quit taking all my meds because I was constantly nauseous I had my upper teeth worked on an took Percocet for 2 weeks. I felt better then in 5 years. Now the wall hit full force I can barely move I am miserable. I want to find more natural ways of treating this I'm sick if doctors and try this try that. I so want to be able to work, work, work but now sitting on my bed in tears trying to figure out some relief. Sorry for the rant and rave. Hope you all are doing well
Hello all. Prayers and thoughts to all this weekend they are hardest for me because I try so hard to be super Mom. I pay for it Sunday's nights on. My big push this weekend is I am lucky enough to have an appointment with Dr P on Wed morning. So hoping for some understanding and some new avenues in this crappy illness.
Hi Fibro Friend. I feel your pain. Cold is my enemy. My greatest gift was yesterday my Mother (god love her) went to bed bath and beyond she got me a chenille heated throw blanket $49 OMG with that and my heating pad on my neck is heaven. If you can get one it really gets me warmed up and a little relaxed. Doesn't kill the pain but at least I am not shaking from cold. Hope this helps and best of luck. (sorry bout grammar and spelling the headache and vision really bad this week)
Sorry you are struggling with these Holiday issues. I can relate with somewhat of your situation. I end up having to do most of the entertaining too. This year we are flying to Florida with the whole family for a week long Disney. So exhaustion and pain will be my Holiday. So as giving you any helpful hints I cannot. All I can say is my heart goes out to you. I will send good vibes your way.
Best of luck Fibro Friend. You are not alone.View Thread
I am starting to finally get what triggers me. 1. Cold weather 2. Wet weather 3. Really humid weather 4. Stress 5. Getting chilled or over heated 6. Walking and carrying anything 7. Kneeling down or reaching up
OK so that is my whole life. LOL
My solutions so far. 1. Warm shower 2. My heating pad 3. Hot tub 4. Completely quiet dark room
I have always over extended myself by being the good catholic girl whom guilt over rules. I never said NO, I worked unlimited hours and tried to be super Mom. I had to make the decision today to cut back to absolute min hours of work this week. I run a small business so this will be hard. I don't want to become a hermit but until I can make things more manageable this is what I need to do. So if anyone has some more input for me I appreciate it. I right now just want my vision, pain in back hips and legs plus the exhaustion to subside a little. If I can get through this flare up without becomng depressed I will be exstatic.. Thanks and prayers for all of you suffering too. I hope someday I can help someone else out in this situation to.
Gabapentin, Ultram, Vauim are my prescribed meds.View Thread
