Hi fibro family, I'm having such a bad day. So stressed and drained from dealing with this. After each period i notice my fribo is worse every month. I feel so drained. My body feels as if its a heavy weight and its hard to even cook food. When i'm laying down i feel so weighted. My hands and feet feel as if they are swollen but visually are not. My muscles cramp and spasm. I'm so tired of being tired..im numb. I feel like i could nap but i can't even get comfortable to do that. And my anxiety gets so bad because of this all. I feel i could cry a river but i'm to tired to do that!! I look at my house and need to clean it depresses me i have no energy too. I spent 30 min cutting fresh fruit and veggies and making taco lettuce wraps for lunch. From standing in the kitchen my legs and tush hurt and ache. I can't take meds for this because i'm so sensitive to everything. But i wish i could take something to help! Which advil and tylenol don't work anyways so why take them. I HATE feeling so tired and weak! And tired of not being able to live my life as a 23yr old should!
Hi Cece, thanks for your response! Well to deal with this mostly warm baths and they have not been helping much. I am very sensitive to medications so i quit trying stuff. I was prescribed cymbalta but way to expensive and to many side effects to add to what i already have. I'm scared to take anything because of all my bad reactions and bad luck.View Thread
Hi there. I'm so sorry for the loss of your Mom. And my dear yes!!! I have anxiety bad and don't handle stress well and boy dose that effect your fibro. My anxiety is more so situational and dealing with my health issues at 23 and not being able to live like it wan't its scary and depressing. Dealing with a death can be extremely hard. When ever your body gets put through stress fibro flares. One of the most causes of a flare. Hang in there i'm here if you need to vent. We all are here for each other and understand! Try nice warm baths or showers at night. Warm water can help and its soothing. I pray for your strength to get though this God bless you! HuggsView Thread
Hi lb707. Sorry you go through that. Mine don't seem to be visible. I feel it like deep within my muscles. But they can become visible when i'm having a sugar low. And MCS? How did you find out you had that? I feel i'm soo sensitive to any med i put in my body:( It's annoying because i feel i can 't take anything to help me:(View Thread
Hi BetteK! I have gotten better thanks. I did start today to feel like i'm flaring again. But i'm a week before my period and i always flare right before. I just feel weak, and shakey my muscles feel so tight. I'm a bit nervous. My doctor went on leave today for 3-4 months. So just makes my anxiety go up because she knows me and my problems and know ill be seeing a nurse pract until she gets back. Thank you for thinking of me!) And i will look into that book thanks so much!View Thread

Hi Denise. I was diagnosed a year ago and i am still learning how to cope with it. I live in the midwest and winter is awful for flares for me. I do say since i have been diagnosed it feels to get worse and worse for me. Constant fatigue, weakness, dizzy at times, worsens my IBS and periods. But there is a lot that can help. But i'm not having to much luck. I react bad to a lot of meds. I have gained weight because of lack of exersize which is hard when you don't have energy or it hurts. What i am working on is a plan...you will need a good daily routine. Light exersize like swimming, walking, yoga or streching. As i have been told and i'm working on is pace yourself. If you don't you can end up in a flare. ALL NATURAL food is best! Lots of fresh fruit and veggies, lean protein and good vitamins. Like magnesium a b12 complex, omgea3's and vitamin D. Have your D checked it could be low. I am and a lot of people who have fibro do. Good sleep is very important! Also if you get sick or have other health issues you can flare up worse:( When i seem to get sick it last a lot longer for me and also seems to feel like death...but you will be ok and get through it! Tell others what your going through...teach them and explain. A lot of people don't get it and won't understand. So its important to do so! And ask questions we you need and vent when you have too. Stress can make it a whole lot worse! As it has gotten worse for me i have developed bad anxiety. I feel like i need to go go go and it makes me mad when i can't! I overdue it. Then i pay for it. So good you time and relaxation time is a MUST! Good luck!View Thread
