Hi Mimi, I just want to say thank you for helping so many of us with your advice. I can't type very much because of neuropathy, numb hands. But I'm glad you're still able to post so much here, and I want you to know you are deeply appreciated here, Thanks again,
Hi, you will need to go to the doctor and tell him/her your symptoms. I got fibro in November 2010 and had some of the same symptoms. The doctor diagnosed me after checking all the tender points. I didn't feel bloated or tingly at the time, but people with fibro or other illnesses don't always share the same symptoms. My advice is to go ahead and schedule a doc appt. I pray that it isn't fibro because there is no cure. Please check out all the advice on this board in the meantime in case you start another "flare."
Hi Mary, Sorry I didn't sign my last post, my fingers still don't work well in typing. (ajnsmom aka Linda S.) I know what you mean about more health issues as we age. I turned 49 in Feb, so I only have one more year in my forties, and the list of things I can do is getting shorter.
A suggestion about babysitting. You may want to do some major additional child-proofing so you won't have to pick up your grandson to keep him safe. I did that for my grandbaby (Zeta is 3 now, so it has gotten easier.) I used to keep all of her toys in the living room, so she didn't wander out of my sight very much after that. Boys do love to climb, so maybe you could block off one room for him to play in. Just a thought. I know it's hard, and I have been there!
I also risk having retinal bleeds if I lift anything too heavy. So it seems like a double whammy when we have additional health problems. I'm really going to limit my discussing of health issues to this board and leave my family out of it for the most part. I tell people not to ask me how I'm doing unless they really want to know, because I WILL tell them. lol
Anyway, I hope you and everyone else here is having a good day.
