I hope you're feeling much better by now! I know what you mean about trying to take a tub bath. I haven't been able to do that since November 2010 when my fibro symptoms began. I really wish I could! My arms and my hands would not allow me to lower myself into the tub. Still can't, and typing is aggravating now with numb fingers. Just wanted to wish you well.
Hi Everyone, It's even cold here in North FL. Brrrrr! I'm glad though because it wouldn't feel like the holidays if the temp was in the 80's. lol I hope all of you have a very Happy Thanksgiving! My sister is having us over so I just have to bring dessert. I'm going to make Apple Cake. The Betty Crocker Cookbook version is great. I started making it a couple months ago and it was a big hit.
I haven't tried the methods you speak of, but my meds are helpful most of the time in reducing pain. I take Amitriptyline, Gabapentin, and Flexeril. They all make me very sleepy. I can no longer work, so I filed for SSDI and am waiting on a decision. I also have other health problems. Others here will chime in with various things they have tried. I pray the rest of your day is a good one.
Hi, I pray that your disability claim will be approved. I'm only 48, will turn 49 in February, and I applied for SSDI and it's now under reconsideration after the first denial. So we shall see. I sold my mobile home and moved in with my son, so I depend on him quite a bit. Let us know how it goes. And it is so nice being home to spend time with my grandbaby. She turns 3 in January. I'm happy for you, that you are soon becoming a grandma.
