Hello everyone, I haven't posted in a long time but wanted to share something that I think may be helping me. A friend told me about tart cherry juice. I did some research and decided to give it a try. I bought straight tart cherry juice. No additives, flavor combos, no sugar etc. Montmorency cherry juice was the top recommended but I am using the plain brand of tart cherry juice. I drink 2 oz in the morning and 2 oz at night. It is also high in melatonin and is recommended for sleep disorders. I finished my first bottle a week ago and am on my second. I have had 6 pain free days in a row. I still suffer from migraines, fatigue, fiber fog and the rest of the symptoms. But to even have a small break from the pain is phenomenal. If you decide to try this, please check with your doctor first. As I know we are all on a lot of medications. Myself included. So thankful to have these few days, and hoping for more to come. Will post again after a few more bottles View Thread
Just wanted to share about my fibro fog/narcolepsy problems that have been helped. The sleep dr. has not officially diagnosed me with narcolepsy but I have all the symptoms except cataplexy, diagnosed with inability to stay awake-hm...happens a lot with people with fibro fog also. Mine started out as the fog that was just debilitating in the morning, then developed into falling asleep at any time of the day for no reason. I mean sound asleep in seconds. The sleep dr. has now put me on Ritalin ER 3 times a day and it has been a miracle for me. I can stay awake during the day, focus on work and basically have a life again that doesn't revolve around laying on the couch whenever I wasn't at work. Don't get me wrong, sundays are my couch day so that I have the energy for the work week. Hope I don't have to be on it forever, but for the time being it is a miracle. Just being able to function and have a life is awesome-Have a great weekend everyone!View Thread
Hi, I just went through all the posts on the bras and it is overwhelming how many people have the same problem. I have tried no underwire sports type bras, genie bra etc. The only thing that has come close to comfort for me is the Flexees camisole. I just wish the bra area had more support even for a 38B person. I was unsure of the inner lining for slimming but found it is so silky soft that it is actually very comfortable. I bought it on a special for only $9 total, including shipping so it was well worth the try. Going to hit Kohls this weekend to see if they carry the same. BUT will get a bigger size, I bought the large but believe the xlarge would be comfortable for me. I REALLY don't like tight clothing but have been sold on this one so far. If the bust area had more support I could wear it to work!! Get to work Flexees and design that bra/camisole-they would make a fortune on us FMers. Well enough about the bra thing.
I am trying to break the cycle of a 7 day migraine, started my prednisone pack today so hopefully I can enjoy the weekend. St Louis weather has not been FM nor migraine friendly these last few weeks.
