I keep getting this odd feeling in my legs, hips and butt. Mostly if sitting or lying down but sometimes when standing / walking.
It!s kind of like a tingly feeling almost like when you hit your funny bone. It doesn't hurt. Also kinda feels like when you touch the prongs on the dog shock collars when they are too close to the limit. Again there is no pain associated and seems no rhyme or reason to what causes it. Lasts a few seconds. Maybe 10 and goes away.
Had a rough couple of days. Pain, fatigue and nausea. Not sure what the nausea is from. Post nasal drip maybe. This time of year is usually hard on my asthma. The whole warm/ cold / warm / cold.cycle. once it stays cold I get better. Hoping it's not too bad this year. Trying to stay on top of all if my allergy and asthma meds as I have two races on the books.
I have been taking Savella for a little over a month. Hope he gave you the Titration pack where you gradually build up dosage.
I had nausea for about 3 weeks, still do if I do not eat enough when I take it. Sometimes I felt a little dizzy or just off. All that is gone, except the nausea if I don't eat enough when I take it. I feel so much better. Still some pain at night but it doesn't wake me anymore. Still agony if I push and do too much ( still trying to figure out that fine line LOL )
Mimi sorry your knees are giving you grief. Probably the weather change. Oh, my mom had her knee replaced ( she was bone on bone, not sleeping, in agony) and wishes she had done it sooner. Her recovery was a little rough at first with muscle spasms but once she got past that it has been great.
We had a good storm here last night too.
I have been feeling really good.this week. Trying to behave and not do too much and pay for it !
Tonight I am doing the Electric Run with some neighborhood friends. It looks like so much fun. I can't wait.
Lots of work to squeeze in today as i need to take off early.
Daughter came home sick from.school yesterday. Bad sore throat, headache and generally crappy
Lorip, I'm sorry that your doctor doesn't seem to want to address the Fibro. Certainly time to find a new one. Maybe you could do an online search that might show reviews of the doctors by actual patients.
I was diagnosed about 6 weeks ago and am almost one month into treatment and I am doing better. Not 100% but so much better. I am taking Trazadone for sleep and Savella for the Fibro. I am still on the Titration pack but am up to the full dosage and it is already helping. Dr said it could take 4-6 weeks to work. It did cause me a bit of nausea for 3 weeks and still if I don't eat enough when I take it. I get exercise every day, drink lots of water and take my vitamins.
I still have pain but it's down in the 1 to 2 range mostly. Sometimes higher but not like it was. Still if I over do it then it will shoot back up to an 8 or 9 so have to be mindful but as long as I am I do ok. Still fight fatigue some , mostly toward the end of the day.
