Hello JR and thanks for sharing. I have asked my doctor before about the adrenals being something that might be causing so much fatigue. He assured me mine were ok. Don't know what he based this on. But I was quite shocked when they took my blue pressure laying down and then took it again when I stood up - which supposedly is a way to know whether or not they are working like they should. I was told that it should increase by at least 10 points if they are doing ok..(standing) mine went down 11.
Anyway....I do plan to check into this.
It seems like it is always one thing or another to deal with. I do know that none of my days are the same. I am like a roller coaster.....up and down. I also have found out that I have lots of acid as well.
Hello FMily.....MiMi in NC. So I said I would post more later. This morning I was having major issues with trying to post. My computer was so slow and I had to wait until I caught up to make sure I was not making a lot of errors. It was actually getting on my nerves.
I do want to say that *Heaven is for real* is a really good movie. We bought it when I saw it was released and had put it up. There was not much on TV last night so my DH decided we would watch it. Normally I tend to go to sleep when we put a movie in (this is why I don't do movies)...but last night I watched the entire movie. I think this is based on a real life story, for the most part. I did have a couple of questions about it. But I am glad that we purchased this. I will watch in again as it was really good.
I am resting today since I have been so busy this week. I paid for it too. I am still taking the *cellfood* and I have had a couple of headaches from taking this too. I am thinking there must be something in this that my body does not agree with. I have been surprised how it works. (I do not know how)...but I am ok with it as I did not purchase but 1 bottle and so if I decide not to use it again, I am not out a lot of money.
I am going to try to find something to help my adrenals though. I wanted to wait until I tried the cellfood supplement first.
I hope each of you will indeed have a good Friday. It is hard to believe that school will soon be starting and I will be caring for my sweet grandson. I have missed seeing him every day and spending our quality time together as well. He smiles at me every time I see him. He is growing up so very fast. He is now crawling. I don't think it will be long until he start walking.
Hello Lou....so glad that your brother is doing better. It is interesting how *family members* get along, isn't it ? I know that as a mother, I have to stop and wonder sometimes how in the world were 3 children born so different ? Perhaps it is because my sons are 5 years apart with my daughter in the middle. But all of them are so very different. We have a multiple of relatives also with such a wide difference as well. (most would not even believe how different they are)
I am also glad that you have gotten your kitchen project under way. I hope this goes well for you.
TGIF****Roll Call....it is this time again and a new month too.... MiMi in NC where it is raining. They said we would get some rain this week-end and it has arrived. I am glad that my getting early and out the door is over with. I think I overstepped my boundaries. I ended up trying to trim another furbaby but she was not too happy about this. I only got part of her done....so I will have to return and try to finish her. I have to go over and cut nails too. Climbing steps is not an easy thing for my bad knees either.
I got up too early this morning too....thanks to my furbabies. Perhaps this was my *reward* for waking them up so early this week. I hope each of you had a good peaceful and restful night and I hope we all have a good Friday too.
Welcome to the new members. I am sure you will find some good information.
Morning FMily. MiMi in NC where the weather is nice for this time of year. Scattered showers are expected in parts of NC. Can you believe tomorrow is August and school will be beginning a new year soon. Too short of a summer break this year. Not sure my GC are ready to go back. Less than 5 months until Christmas and the end of this year. On the downward swing now.
Here is hoping each of you had a good peaceful and restful night and I hope we all will have a good day as well. I hope to finish grooming the dog today at my DD's house. I did more yesterday until I nicked my finger and then I had to stop. Not a good thing at all. He started with me but I had him muzzled so he soon figured out that I was helping him. I think he is ready for me to be finished and I know I am ready to be done.
Welcome to the new members who have joined our support group recently. I am sure that you will soon find something that will help you cope better. It does take time and effort to find the *right combination of tools* which just might work. So hang in here and be sure and ask questions...make comments and/or suggestions...we might not have all of the answers but I am sure you will get some good information here.
Vitamin D. I can NOT tell you just how important getting your Vitamin D checked might be. Low Vitamin D causes some people to have additional pain and it can also affect other illnesses as well. If you have not spoken to your doctor about this...be sure and remember it when you are in the office again. This is not an easy fix either....it does take time and effort to get your level to what is considered a *normal range and to be able to keep it there*.
Hello. MiMi in NC. I take 1 tablet every day. The bottle states you can take 1 - 3 with a meal. I get the Source Naturals Brand at the vitamin store that I go to. I also noticed though that you can order this brand online as well.
Morning FMily. MiMi in NC and I have a break today. I stayed with my GS who is 7 yesterday. Actually I was just there with him as he keeps himself busy. I did some cleaning though and then decided to see if my 40 plus pet grooming clippers would work. I took a grooming course years ago and learned how to groom my poodles. I bought a pair of professional clippers and still had them. My DD has dogs which require some grooming so I wanted to see if the clippers would work. Well, I was quite shocked, but pleased that they worked like a charm. I told her when I gave them to her that I did not even know if they would work but if they didn't I was going to see if I could buy some new blades for them. Anyway....this was not exactly a good thing. I ended up doing a bit more than I expected. The little dog was not exactly ok with me trying to do it either. He was ok to begin with and then he decided he had enough. I was only about half way there. Not a good way to leave him.
He gave me a break and I let him go outside for a while and then did some more. I still did not finish as he was beginning to nip at me. I decided then that I needed to wait until I could get a muzzle to put on him. He did not want me touching his legs. I guess, for the most part though, he did good since I have never tried to clip him.
Well, I crossed my line anyway. I had a dentist appointment for cleaning and check up at 3 pm. I did not know if I would or could even make it. I had to come home and get ready and then realized that I had forgotten my P5P. I left home rather early and just forgot to take it. (Not a good thing) So I took it and in about 30 minutes or so I felt better.
Here is hoping each of you had a good start to this week. My DD decided to let my GS go over and spend some time with his cousins. (they have recently returned from Spain). So this will give me a break also. Then the rest of the week I will keep him.
Welcome to the new members who have joined our support group recently. I am sure that each of you will soon find something that will help you cope better. It does take time and effort to find the *just right combination of tools* that will make a difference. So hang in there and continue to learn all you can about what others have found that has made a difference for them. This is not saying you will be painfree....because I do not think this is possible. But there are ways to reduce our pain, at least for a while....which is better than being in a lot of pain all the time.
Vitamin D. So very important. I have read more recently about Vitamin D again. It seems that the medical researchers are still finding out different and important info on Vitamin D. I also think there are more doctors which are finally learning more about just how important Vitamin D is. This is a good thing.
I have also visited other web sites on FM and a lot of people say that they had have their Vitamin D level tested and found out just how low they were. So again I encourage anyone and everyone who has any sort of *chronic pain* to get this checked.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Lou, so happy for you that you are now getting your new kitchen. I hope this will go smoothly for you. I remember when I had my kitchen redone. Actually I added a new room and had my kitchen remodel as well. They were just beginning and I fell and broke my right wrist. Not exactly a good time to do anything like this. My DH ended up and had to pack up the kitchen so that the work could be done. It had already been scheduled. Anyway.....good luck with this. Let us know how things are going for you.
Have a good day and remember to pace, pace and pace even more. (this is not an easy thing to do all of the time but it sure makes a difference)
