I tried it a few years ago but it didn't suit me. However it is a wonder drug for so many people that you should give it a try.
Probably the biggest advice would be to start slowly. The starter titration kit can be too fast for many people. My doctor gave me 3 of them so that I could stretch it out that much longer. (She even had me cut the first pill in 1/2 for 5 days.) It will also make it easier for you to tell if you hit a dose that is too much for you.
I've had good response using rhodiola rosea. It is used for increasing energy and well-being and is very well-researched. It's not a caffeine or guarana type of supplement, no jittery or speedy side effects.
Look it up and see what you think. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.
That kind of pain could be a symptom from a number of causes. I've had pain similar to yours in the past and for me it's a sign that my cervical disks need some attention, so I go to the physiatrist. He works with physical therapists, massage therapists (not the spa type) and others to get a good treatment plan going. I've had great response under his guidance.
That pool exercising recommended by fibrostressd sounds good also. Is that one of those therapy pools with warmer water?View Thread
Thank you for mentioning Formula 303. I used to take that back in the 90s, recommended by my holistic massage therapist. It's good stuff. When she moved, access was gone and it was forgotten. Now with the internet it's easy to find.
I have taken amitriptyline for years. It has been great to help with sleep and some pain management, and also as a migraine preventive. I take 75mg daily, and the biggest side effects are dry mouth and some weight gain.
I also take Tramadol for occasional mild-moderate pain and find it is good for daytime relief. However, it keeps me awake so I don't take it after about 4:00.
I am curious because postings like this have appeared on the WebMD Pain Management Community recently. The common thread is about fibromyalgia, and refers to peer reviewed articles in medical journals. Maybe they aren't related, with the timing and topics only coincidence.
Anyway, my question is, what is your intention with this posting?View Thread
