Thanks a lot. Yeah I hope so too. I have 4 more sessions scheduled with this chiropractor. He is super nice though and I will tell him next week about the back issue so hopefully he will lknow what to do to prevent a repeat. I have to pay if I cancel these appts a cancellation fee and I also want to try to give it a chance so I guess I will at least do the 4 sessions and just hope for the best. Fibromyalgia is so frustrating. There are so many theories on the condition and so many different ideas on treatment. I guess the bottom line is we have to advocate for ourselves and find the treatment that works best for us. Just wish they would find something that really works well. Take care. Cat:0)View Thread

I am actually using a chiropractor for my myofascial release. I felt great directly following this treatment but by the evening I began to experience cervical and lumbar spine pain- severe. It was very expensive even with insurance. I have 4 more sessions set up so far and it is really going to break the bank but if it works I will not care so much about the cost. Just praying for a miracle as I know we all are. So very tired of being in pain. It makes me very negative as much as I try to be positive and not get depressed I fail miserably too often. Unfortunately the new myofascial release treatment kicked off a back spell. I have not had one this bad in 10 years. My back cervical spine and lumbar spine are really screaming. Especially cervical- the bulging discs must be really bulging right now. Very painful to be on computer - kind of makes you wonder about yourself- am I nuts??? lol Anyway went to my old doctor and got a new muscle relaxer which is much less side effecty for me and a steroid which is making me a little aggressive and anxious but has helped quite a bit so I'll take the side effects for the positive outcome in the end. Well enough of that. This too shall pass. Cat:0)View Thread

Tell about your experience with savella. I am considering trying it but am very much afraid due to my high sensitivity to so many drugs. I was unable to tolerate many of the muscle relaxers, pain meds, cymbalta, neurontin, and had no real benefit once I was able to get past the initial side effects from lyrica. Just really trying to find a balance now that I am working again for the past 10 + months I find that I am flaring and feeling worse and worse. So want to make this work. Thanks for any input you can offer. Cat:0)View Thread

Has anyone tried myofascial release and what was your experience with it. Cat:0)View Thread

When I am in a flare which I am at this point my eyes get red and a little goopy. Does anyone else have this symptom and do you know what causes this? Cat:0)View Thread
