I used to be a rather avid runner doing around 5 miles a day at a decent pace, stopped for a few months due to working extra hours. However I picked it up again and started out slow doing maybe a mile at first at a slower pace, and working my way up to 2. Now i get this bad pain in my side after just a half mile, I stretch for around 4-5 minutes, including my abdominal muscles, warmup with a walk, I don't eat more than an hour+ before I run, and I stay hydrated all day long. I even tried synchronizing my breathing with my steps to prevent the "jouncing" of the liver I read up on.View Thread
