As most of you know, I am an adult with food allergies that trigger my asthma. I have been eating bison meat since June 2009, like hamburgers, chip steak, sirlion steak. About a month ago I started having reactions to the meat. Bought from the same place and prepared the same as always. Our thought is that somehow my pollen allergy, the high pollen counts and what the bison eats all contribute to me not being able to eat it now.
Now the really sad and depressing part for me. I have been eating Chebe Bread for approx a year and love it! The company changed where they purchase one ingredient from and now I can't eat it. Last night I had a terrible asthma attack. My diet is very limited already because of everything I react to. The Chebe Bread was my only form of bread and cookies in my diet. Besides gluten, I am allergic to rice and potato which most gluten free products are made with. I really just want to cry but I know that it won't help. What makes me even sadder is to see the hurt on my husband's face. We feel each other's pain.
We have tried: buckwheat, tapioca, quinoa, casava root (all these should be okay). I am also allergic to sulfites (preservatives). My system is very sensative. It would actually be easier to list what I can eat (short list).
Thank you all for reading and any input would be appreciated.

But anyway, always loved animals growing up. We had horses/ponies when I was young and wanted to be a jockey, but unfortunately was too big. I then wanted to be a vet but that meant a lot of school, yuk! Did work at a vet office for several years and really enjoyed that.View Thread

So glad Lily is doing fine. Children are funny like that and you can't help but snicker at them. That's what keeps you going.
Dude is very good about his shots. He is 14 1/2 yrs old and we have a special connection. I talk to him and he understands me. Funny, while I'm typing this message, he came in the room and looked at me. It's time for his insulin. He is too smart! I don't have children but he is like a child.
Have a good Mother's Day!

Hopefully he is still improving and your heart rate has returned to normal after the scare.View Thread

It may be tough smelling and seeing the foods, but would be nice to interact more with family/friends.
So glad that all went well at the birthday party and that you DD does not feel slighted. I really enjoy my Chebe bread and scones (my treats).
Have a good evening.
