Hey! I'm Lucia and I also have a similar problem. One thing you could try is a recipe I made for Chicken Noodle Soup, or Chicken Potato Soup, depending on your personal preference. It is loaded with veggies and it includes every food group aside from dairy but you can drink a glass of milk with it to help you get that full feeling.
Ingredients: 2 medium skinless, boneless, chicken breasts (cut into bite sized pieces), celery ( 2 stalks sliced), onion (1 small diced), garlic ( 1 clove minced), spinach (8 leaves cut into thickish ribbons), as many noodles as you prefer or 1-2 large potatoes (diced), water, chicken bouilion.
1. Saute half of the onion and all of the garlic in a little bit of butter. Add the chicken and let it cook the outside, but only slightly as this will boil for a while as well. Add a bit of sage, rosemary, oregano, and the bouilion. Once this is stirred relatively well, add the water and bring it to a boil.
2. Once the water is at a boil, add the potatoes or the noodles. Add a little bit of granulated onion.
3. Once the potatoes or noodles are about halfway done, add the rest of the onion, and the celery. Let it boil for a while longer and then add the spinach.
4. Once the noodles are soft or the potatoes are tender, pull it off of the stove and let it rest. Then serve and enjoy
Sorry I don't have the measurements all figured out. I made it myself and I'm only 16 xD it's good for college or days when you're sick though :O it fills you up, it's yummy and good for you!View Thread
