I have a sedentary job, but I began making significant changes to my lifestyle 12 weeks ago. I have my caloric intake under control, thanks to a nifty food tracking app (Lose It!) and I have started a vigorous exercise program (strength & cardio) 90 minutes, 4x week. Despite these changes, I have seen no weight loss. I weigh the same as I did when I engaged in no physical activity and enjoyed a cookie/brownie/ice cream dessert each night.
I am not expecting dramatic weight loss to come quickly, I just would like to see some minor improvement to keep me motivated.
