My Story:
I collect old cookbooks and love to try things in them--but lighten them up. I cook for my partner, the three children at home, and my mother who has diabetes, heart disease, GERD and other health problems.

I owned books from expert Elaine Magee before I even knew her. I highly recommend Comfort Food Makeovers, Fry Right, Fry Light, the "Tell me what to eat if I have........" series (Diabetes and GERD especially), and Food Synergy.

Be sure to ask Elaine Magee to help with your family favorites! She is a pro at making the most unhealthy recipes healthier and yet not changing how they taste.
