So I had a pretty bad case of heartburn the other night while I was at a bar. Drank a lot of liquor/beer the night before and I felt just fine the next morning but it hit me around 5pm. Didn't consume any kind of alcohol while at the bar but had around 6 glasses of water in a 3 hour time frame. Water didn't help much so I drank a glass of milk and that helped instantly. 5 minutes later I started burping constantly and started to panic a little bit but was able to calm myself down pretty quickly.
The next day I woke up with shortness of breath, tight chest, and constant need to yawn/burp. The burping wasn't nearly as bad as the night before. I decided to go to the gym to try and sweat it out. Did just fine, ran 2 miles in 17 minutes, moderate pace. Felt fine the rest of the day but was still having the same symptoms.
I'm not sure what's causing this and I've already ruled out asthma. I've been putting my body under a lot of stress at the gym, just jumped back in after taking a 3 week break. Just got back from the gym once again I felt fine while I was there, still had the symptoms there. I'm not in any kind of pain at all, this is just getting annoying.
I'm a 26 male, 5"11 185lbs, in pretty good shape. I do smoke but I've cut down drinking to around 2 times a week. If someone knows or heard of symptoms like this it would help out a lot. I'm currently registered to the VA Health department but its going to be another week before I can see a doctor.View Thread
