Hey there girlie, 7deg oh gosh.Im freezing and its 30 here. Im not really looking or thinking about a light box right now.Im sure it would turn out to be used as much as yours. The longer days bring better moods.i try to get out in the sun when its sunny out, been kinda dreary lately though.
your health care system is quite different than yours. We pay for it in taxes, then we pay for it monthly, then we get to pay again at 20% of total cost if hospitalized. We end up paying so much that we dont go to the Dr. unless its an emergency or one of the kids. Thanks for the reply Snowy,I apreciate it. Snowy, I live in south dakota,so we do have a long cold winter here.Ive never been dx'd with SAD,but Im sure we have it at our house.Ive been getting outside lately as the weather is warming up.try to sit in the sun for 20 min when its sunny.Been getting out scouting turkeys, that has helped with the depression,i always get a recharge from it.I know your a canuck but what part do you live in?Can a DR. prescribe a light box,so you can get it with a copay on insurance? Id sure be interested. hope your weather is getting warmer up there. royceView Thread
A little advice for both of you.Always sleep next to the wall, with your partner in front.that way if a monster does come in while your asleep,he will have to eat through the first person before he eats you.that way you should have ample time to wake-up and jump out the window. your welcome,Gawd Im smart. Also Michelle, quit waking the bf up when hes snoring,it really pisses people off,I know.hope you get some better sleep....... Hey there kiddo.i have a 16yo and a 12yo with bipolar,as do I.Speaking from experience, you need to let your parents know how your doing. If your affraid theyll flip out about the suicide thoughts, just tell them your really depressed and think you should see a doctor. at my house we all 3 struggle during the winter with depression. It starts in October and stays till March just like clockwork.your not alone. Just get the word out how your feeling,is really helps to get things like that off your chest. If you cant talk to your parents find someone to talk to about it.But somehow you need to let your parents know, even if you need a friend to aproach them for you.Everyone on this site has been through the same thing, trust me.Weve all gotten through it or we wouldnt be here. Let me know what you think.you can say anything here and we wont flip out about it. royceView Thread

Ill prob go visit my sister later, maybe stop at my buddies and take in a good basketball game on TV. well girlie, have a great day,and let Cookie out, i think she wants to piss off the neighbor. royceView Thread
